Mattathias ha-Yitzhari

(fl. 14th-15th cent)

   Spanish scholar. A pupil of Hasdai Crescas, he wrote a commentary on Psalm 119, a commentary on Avot, and homiletical explanations of the Pentateuch. He played a role in the Disputation of Tortosa in 1413-15, representing the Zaragoza community.
